Tell us about your favorite Cornell memory.

When asked about my favorite memory at Cornell, Slope Day immediately comes to mind. Singing along to amazing singers and bands while eating delicious food with my friends is the best way to celebrate the end of the school year.

What is one piece of advice or something you wish you knew when you were applying?

I wish I'd known that students and alumni want to share their Cornell experiences. Looking back, I would have applied to Cornell sooner had I learned earlier on about the communities I could be a part of by reaching out to and engaging with Cornellians.

What are your go-to campus resources? How did you discover them?

My go-to campus resource is the David M. Einhorn Center for Community Engagement, located in 300 Kennedy Hall. The Einhorn Center has allowed me to get involved with the Cornell campus and the broader Ithaca communities.

Why is the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning a great fit for you?

I love the small class sizes within the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. These small classes enable me to develop strong relationships with both my peers and my professors.

What is your favorite class so far, and why?

My favorite class so far has been Social Inequality, taught by Professor Kim Weeden. Although this course is not within my major, it solidified my interest in the intersections between social justice, psychology, and education policy.

Tell us about your favorite spot on campus or in Ithaca.

Not many people know about or venture to it, but the Kroch Rare Manuscript Library is magical. I discovered it because I was working on a history project, and one of the sources I needed was stored there.

What is your favorite class so far, and why?

One of my favorite classes has been Ethical Issues in Health & Medicine. It goes over a range of different issues that come up with medicine, and I would recommend the class to anyone considering going into the healthcare industry.

What is one piece of advice or something you wish you knew when you were applying?

My best advice is to be yourself in your essays. It sounds cliché, but be confident that you bring your own mix of qualities to a school that embraces growth and passion.

What is your favorite class so far, and why?

My favorite class has been AIIS 1110 Indigenous Issues in Global Perspectives with Professor Kassam. I know many of the issues that Indigenous peoples face here in North America, and this class taught me about other issues in other parts of the world and how these issues can be combated.
